Connect the plugin with your API key
Paste the key, save, test. Once the test says Connected, the chat button appears on your site.
Add your key
Open the Connection tab
In WordPress go to GoChatterBot → Settings and choose the Connection tab. Only administrators see this tab.
Paste the key
Paste your key into API key. Use Show to check it was pasted completely, with no spaces at either end.
Save and test
Click Save changes, then Test the connection. “Connected.” means you’re live.
The Plan line under the key shows your plan and monthly answers, with an Upgrade link.
If the test fails
- Check the whole key was copied. If in doubt, create a new key in your dashboard and paste that.
- Check the key’s website address in your dashboard matches this site’s address.
