Frequently asked questions

What does a source link show?

The title of the page, post, event or document the answer used, with a small label for its type. Visitors click it to open that page on your site.

Can I change how many sources appear?

Yes. Settings → General → Answers → Source links sets the most links shown under an answer.

Do sources link to PDFs as well?

If you let the chatbot read documents in your Media Library, an answer that came from a PDF links to that document.

We run a staging copy. Will links point there?

No. In developer mode the chatbot reads your staging copy but links to the live site address you enter, so test answers link where visitors would go.
