Choose whether every conversation and setting goes with it.

Respecting your visitors
Trust starts with what you keep, and for how long
Visitors are more at ease when they know they’re talking to an automated assistant and that their conversation won’t be kept forever. Set a retention period, decide about IP addresses, and say so in your privacy policy.
Frequently asked questions
Where are conversations stored?
In your own WordPress database, on the chatbot’s Conversations screen. You can search them, filter by status and date, open a full transcript with the sources used, export them, or delete them.
How long are conversations kept?
You decide. Keep conversations for deletes conversations older than the number of days you set, once a day. Leave it at 0 to keep them until you delete them.
Do you store visitors’ IP addresses?
Only if you want to. Visitor addresses controls whether each visitor’s IP address and approximate location are kept with the conversation. Numbers that look like payment card or Social Security numbers are replaced before a message is saved.
Can I limit the chatbot to logged-in users?
Yes. Under Who sees the chat, choose Only signed-in users with these roles and tick the roles, for example for a members’ area or an intranet.
What happens to the records if I remove the plugin?
They stay in your database unless you tick Also delete every conversation and setting before deleting the plugin, so you can reinstall without losing history.
